Het Nieuwe Bouwcentrum is an initiative of TU Delft’s Faculty of Architecture and Built Environment for the Netherlands. Along with a core team of partners, Georg Vrachliotis kick-started the collective initiative, with the support of Kees Kaan, Chairman of the Department, and Dick van Gameren, Dean of the Faculty. Their goal is to expand collaboration and connect with other institutions.
The New Open is a flagship project of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at TU Delft, initiated and led by the Design, Data, and Society Group to explore the role of open data for architecture.
Bouwcentrum Research Network is an open, international network that explores the history and legacy of the Bouwcentrum Rotterdam through archival research with scholars from ETH Zurich, TU Delft, and Columbia University/Princeton University, among others.
Jaap Bakema Study Center / Nieuwe Instituut is a collaborative project of the Nieuwe Instituut and the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at TU Delft, based on the National Collection for Dutch Architecture and Urban Planning.
AI Lab is a TU Delft research lab that uses artificial intelligence to create a sustainable built environment and empower architects through computer vision, machine learning, and data science.
Architecture Data Refinery Lab is a TU Delft research lab that aims to crowdsource, refine, and curate high-quality architectural datasets for AI models.
Vision Team Wonen is a TU Delft research project that addresses housing challenges in the Netherlands, including climate, equity, and energy. It provides advice to the Dutch Minister of Housing.
